Angela supports clients experiencing challenging life situations including stress, low self-esteem, loneliness, isolation, anxiety and depression, as well as those navigating life transitions, health challenges, trauma recovery, grief, relationship difficulties, and seeking to strengthen family connections and cultural identity.

Background: Angela is an ACA registered counsellor with experience working with both young and mature adults facing depression, anxiety, social isolation, addictions, and domestic violence. She has also supported students in schools with neurodiversity, behavioural and socio-emotional challenges, collaborating with parents, carers, and teachers to understand and support neurodivergent strengths and needs.

Specialty: Angela specialises in helping you overcome challenges; reduce isolation; enhance relationships; support post-trauma recovery; and build resilience. She supports you to improve your overall wellbeing by setting healthy boundaries; fostering increased self-awareness; identifying and shifting problematic thoughts and behavioural patterns; and developing a sense of connection with yourself, others and community.

Approach: Angela tailors interventions to your unique needs. She supports both emotional and physical healing, drawing from person-centred therapy and neuro-affirming practices. With a down-to-earth and curious approach, she focuses on collaborating with you to focus on your strengths to help enhance your resilience and promote growth.

Perspective: Angela values cultural diversity and creates a safe(r) and inclusive space for people facing marginalisation, prejudice and discrimination. She believes in the importance of the therapeutic relationship, fostering connection and collaboration while respecting your autonomy.

Important Notice

There are some people that our counsellors can’t work with – not because we don’t want to, but because we want you to have the best possible care.

If you currently experience domestic violence, are having a mental health crisis, are experiencing severe substance dependency issues, or other acute crises, we can’t provide you with the level of support you deserve. However, we will use your initial appointment to connect you with places that specialise in these issues, so you can get the best possible care.
All Rough Patch counsellors manage their own scheduling and administration. Click on a profile below to read more and send an email enquiry. In the rare event you don’t hear from a counsellor within 24 hours, please call us on 02 7226 0809
