Online Guided Meditations on demand

Help your nervous system settle and support deep rest

Join Kimberley, Rough Patch counsellor and certified meditation teacher, in these six downloadable online guided meditation sessions. These meditations are suitable for all levels with no previous meditation experience necessary, or perhaps you have a regular practice and would like to try something different.

The theme for each meditation sets the tone for what you’ll be guided through in each session. These gentle sessions are not about ‘clearing your mind’, feeling total calm, or finding enlightenment (bonus if that happens!).

It’s also a practice of allowing whatever happens during the meditation to unfold without judgement or having to take action. Instead, we practice being able to observe Self, and be with whatever bubbles up during the time in the mind and as sensations in the body.

Coming Soon: Downloadable Guided Meditation Bundle

Explore a collection of 6 guided meditations created to support grounding, reflection, rest and nervous system regulation, available for $10.

Grounding

Length: 10mins

This meditation is designed for nervous system regulation by practicing present moment awareness, through visualisation, and coming back to Self through breath and a body scan.

If body scans do not feel comfortable for you, you’re welcome to stay with any visualisation or feeling that feels good for you.

If visualisation feels tricky (I don’t see pictures in my mind so this used to stress me out!), you can stay with the sense you have of the elements of the visualisation, or whatever feels most comfortable for you.

Cultivating a reflective practice

Length: 12mins

This meditation will guide you through a practice of self reflection with prompts and thought starters to ponder. In this practice, it’s about practicing letting go of the immediate stressors and checklists in the time you’ve committed to the meditation so you can drop into a more creative and thoughtful space of reflection.

You may like to bring a notebook to write down anything that comes up once you’ve finished the meditation.

Gratitude

Length: 12mins

In this meditation we will practice creating space to acknowledge any feelings of gratitude you may have for moments, people, places or things you’ve encountered in life. You will also be invited to connect with how gratitude feels in your body as sensations, if that feels ok for you.

You don’t need to come prepared with what you’re grateful for, rather, it’s about cultivating calm through slowing down to allow the gratitude through.

Deep rest

Length: 18mins

Non-sleep deep rest meditation helps guide your brain and body into deep relaxation without falling asleep (but it’s ok if you do!)

This meditation is helpful for balancing your nervous system and shifting down gears from the busyness of day. With this in mind, the start of the meditation may feel challenging as we move from the ‘doing of the day’ to ‘being in the moment’.

There is no right or wrong way to meditate. Rather, it’s a practice of practicing being still and allowing your mind and body to help process what’s happening at the time.

Intention Setting

Length: 7mins

This meditation invites you to set intentions to help guide your decision-making so you’re moving towards things you would like, or ways you would like to be in your life.

You may like to come with intentions you’ve already set, or use this time to see what comes through. This is a practice of allowing yourself to remove any blocks, hurdles, doubts, criticism, or resistance to thinking about the life you would like to design for yourself.

Gentleness

Length: 13mins

In this meditation we will practice gentleness with Self; being kinder and more compassionate with who you are today and all you’ve come through. Being gentle with Self creates space to slow down and approach yourself with more care, especially in times of stress.

There are times when it may feel easier or more difficult to connect with gentleness for Self. This meditation is designed for you to practice being kinder with yourself.
